Wedding Her Christmas Duke, by Collette Cameron. This sweet holiday read will have swooning for your own hero for the holidays. Baxter and Justina made a cute couple in this read. I like how the writer kept the focus on the story of the couple. I like how Max’s character wasn’t written to stuffy and how Justina’s character is a young woman who has her head on her shoulders.

A Yuletide Miracle, by Laurel O’Donnell.
After reading this short holiday read I think that the writer chose a good plot to capture the readers attention. The book reads with ease. I did feel that was a moment where the book would stall. I found the characters very interesting. Bastian and Thora have strong personalities. The details are explained in simple form. The writer did a great job of staying away from useless jargon and focusing on the main points of the story. The story has some realism to it. This I think helps the reader maintain the anticipation of the dramatics in the story.

This was my first Christmas collection of novellas I have read. I really enjoyed it. They were well written, passionate and fast paced. All different yet all giving a satisfying Christmas story.

Wedding Her Christmas Duke by Collette Cameron
**** I completely enjoyed this novella. I would read this author again. I love the titled Scottish duke. There love story was sweet and passionate.

The Knot Of A Knight by Linda Rae Sande
***** I would read this author again. I loved the simplicity of the love story. I loved the hero’s secret identity. I loved how lonely the widow was and how she fell for the hero. An excellent read!

The Marquess Is Mine by Tamara Gill
**** I would read this author again. A great second chance romance. The grudge the heroine held was a little much but a good read.

A Yuletide Miracle by Laurel O’Donnell
** It was just ok. I am not a big fan of this historical era, a little too early for me. The story was a little too simple. I probably would not read this author again.

The Lady Who Stole Christmas by Sydney Jane Baily
**** I loved the cat and mouse game! Great love story. Lots of moments of suspense. Would read this author again.

Christmas With A Czar by Emily E K Murdoch
*** it was pretty strong storyline. It was different. Not my favorite but still good. I would read this author again.

A Scot Most Wanted by Angelique Armae
***** a Scottish historical set in the 1790’s. Usually a little early for my taste, but this was really, really good! Had a great HEA and epilogue. Would definitely read this author again.

Secretly Marvellous by Virginia Taylor
*** it just ended abruptly. Hero never found out secret, heroine chose not to tell him and it was something he should have really figured it out on his own. Not really impressed. Started strong but ended weak. Probably not read this author again.

Yuletide Secrets by S.Cinders
***** Not much to read from this author that is disappointing because I loved this novella! Gentle, not a lot of drama. Man with a teenage illegitimate teenage daughter. Meddling spinster, great love story! Hope the author writes more because I would definitely read it!

One Scandalous Christmas by J. Burrelli
***** loved this story! So romantic, great push and pull of couple. Only story like this the author writes! Too bad I would read more of her works!

The Rogue’s Secret by Stacy Reid and Giselle Marks
***** I absolutely loved this story! The love scenes were steamy and very romantic hero. Treasure hunt! A bad guy! A great read. Can’t wait to read more of Stacy Reid!

The Secrets He keeps by Amy Sandas
***** A very different type of story. A completely different world and situation. Very steamy, good storyline and pace. Will read more of her!

Overall very entertaining, I loved it!

A real hit and miss anthology for me. Some good, some bad, some dull. My favorite was the last story – The Secret He keeps. Not sure if I’d read again. It was fine. 3/5
