My first read from P. G. Wodehouse. If this book is anything to go by, he's quite the verbal comedian. I found myself laughing through many funny descriptions and bits of witty dialogue. The one caveat is that it's only recommended for the "not easily offended" because there are some things in here that align with the mores of the time, first published in 1922 as it were. Yes, back then white people were in charge of the Western world and people of other races were more a mysterious curiosity than they were considered the white man's peers, so unfortunately this book echoes that sentiment. If you can look beyond that and just see it as a satirical farce about bumbling British and American people in the 1920s, you may be amused as I was.
