Dark Is the Water and Other Wyrd Tales by Susan Earlam is an interesting collection of short stories in this women-based horror.

These are the stories I liked the most:
1. Baby - this one had me thinking, “What did I just read?!?” Super short but full of impact.
2. The Field - I would love to get more of a novella out of this story, very interesting.
3. Feathers - is reminiscent of The Birds by Daphne du Maurier and gives the same vibes but with a different storyline.
11. Night Revelations - Beware the creatures of the night that are just like us.
12. Dark Is The Water - what a great way to end the book and I can see why this collection is named after this story.

The rest were decent but not as memorable, more of an aperitif before getting to the side dishes and main course of the rest of the stories. Each story was unsettling yet intriguing, very creative, and at times a little disturbing, like Milk. Some of the stories left you wishing it was a bit longer so you understand what just happened.

If you are a fan of short story collections in the horror genre, then I would recommend that you read Dark Is The Water and Other Wyrd Tales by Susan Earlam.
