Excellent story, I really liked how that worked out in the end. It’s a good origin story, and I’m super ready to see where it goes next. Also fun was reading it while at JordanCon with so many friends from there listed as betas in the Acks. But really, it’s a great debut novel that a lot of people will enjoy. Sorry this is a lame review, so so tired.

Not a bad fantasy. Fairly formulaic but nice if you just want to escape into a different world for a while. Also I will read anything I can get my hands on that has green man mythology in it.
