A solid, enjoyable thriller and a good audiobook.  It has the Gone Girl trope of the lying, manipulative spouses, but more twists and turns.  This one requires a lot of suspension of belief.

This was a great thriller with twists and turns all the way through. It’s about a couple who appear to live a perfect life, both writers but they have suffered a terrible trauma and things don’t appear to be what they seem. When Ethan’s wife disappears he finds himself as the main suspect as the police try to piece together what has happened. it’s a believable storyline and it has great character development
4 stars for me and one I would recommend if you like twisty thrillers which keep the pages turning.

This book started out with a bang, kept banging then sort of slowed down near the end. Overall, a very good read that held my interest and began the question: how well do we really know people, even those closest to us?

So this was a good read, but it felt predictable. Very much like a generic version of Gone Girl. I did enjoy the author's style. I would overall give it about a 2.5/5.

I don’t know why this book gets so much hate, I honestly loved it and didn’t see the plot twist coming

So many emotions. So many times I was like "OH Ethan!" or "OH Sutton!" "HOW COULD YOUU". There are so many twists and turns but the ending was a little predictable. A definite read. It makes you wonder what secrets people you know or even your spouse is keeping from you.

Shoutout to Pinterest because that's where I found this book.
