I love Minecraft. This book was entertaining. It seemed to stray from the point a little in some places but was very informative about the origins of Minecraft and Notch's life growing up and creating this amazing game. Pick up this book if you are new to Minecraft for sure. I will say that I was aware of most the history from the beginning but only because I was lucky enough to find out about Mine craft at the alpha stage in 2010.
