Holy crap I don’t even know what to say. It’s 3am and I have to be up in six hours but I couldn’t go to sleep until I finished this. I was so FREAKING good. Cam and Avery’s has always been my favorite in the serious and I never thought that would change but I think this one might have passed it somehow. I LOVED Nick and Steph! They were both so sweet. This book melted my heart and made my ovaries explode it was so damn sweet. But it was also heartbreaking and I sobbed. But I also laughed a lot. And we got to see so many adorable moments plus a lot with all of our faves which is always great. It got me excited for Brock and Jillian’s book but honestly I don’t know how any could compete with this one. I’m dead. Literally. Plus big plus we got to see cam and Avery’s baby AND wedding which was flipping adorable af as if anything else would have been possible. I can’t really say anything else without spoiling the whole book. Sometimes I like to spoil the book for myself so I know what I’m getting into before hand and am prepared but this is one that is definitely felt best when you dive into it knowing nothing. Enjoy it! I know I did.

De cette série, je n'avais lu que le 1er tome, à l'époque de sa sortie VO, aussi, je ne connaissais ni Stephanie, ni Nick, j'avais donc un oeil frais sur les deux personnages.

Ce cinquième tome offre une romance assez classique sans trop de drame, avec deux personnages destinés à passer plus de temps ensemble qu'ils ne l'escomptaient dans un premier temps. Personnellement, je n'aime pas (et de manière générale) la péripétie centrale, mais je dois reconnaître que c'est plutôt bien géré par l'auteur.

La romance est à la fois tendre et sexy, et Nick se révèle être un jeune homme à la surface plus intéressante qu'il n'y paraît. Bien que les deux personnages soient bien équilibrés, j'ai trouvé que lui avait plus d'épaisseur, il m'a plus charmé qu'elle.

La magie n'a pas opéré avec moi, j'ai eu l'impression de rester en retrait de cette histoire tout au long de ma lecture, sans réussir à m'attacher aux héros et/où à ce qu'ils vivaient, mais je ne doute pas qu'il saura trouver son public car cette romance reste plaisante à lire malgré tout.
