At first, I was sure this would be a DNF bc it has that "very tall grumpy distant financial man and bubbly whimsical women" trope that I hate but it's actually not like that much at all.  This is the first non-queer adult romance I've given 5 stars. The narrator is perfect and the story itself has so many wonderful things.

I absolutely loved the inclusion and realistic use of Meg's period. Its not a event, just a fact of her life that Reid isn't childish about.  Reid has a skin condition called psoriasis that, again, isn't an event but just a fact of his life. This book directly discusses cunnilingus, Meg masturbating, and how women often don't orgasm during sex while calling out how many men are too fragile to realize that pleasuring women is about listening to them.

It's not just that the characters are wonderful and that it discusses important topics that I rarely ever see discussed, I also just enjoyed the plot. The plot twist at the end is so interesting and I really love the mess that Meg has put herself in in the beginning.
