This Hastings-p.o.v. Poirot was complex--at times, for me, a bit too complex, though I was driving and listening, which most likely had something to do with that. The story went on and on and covered many months and many mysteries, which I like. But the ending wasn't quite...big enough for the story. I think I wanted more time spent on the end, and even more of a "bang."

There are better books from Agatha than this one.
It feels so all over the place. The back story of how and why the Big Four exist is not explained. It feels like there's no depth in the characters. The ending is also disapppointing.
