This is a short introduction to the series, a how their partnership came about. All I can say is it is hilarious. Snarky, slightly sarcastic, dramatic, and fun. Complete opposites one has a flair for the dramatic while the other is proper. I have a feeling it will be an explosive combination of hilarity. I instantly bought the first 2 books in the series after reading this. I cannot wait to dig into them!

DNF. I'm realizing that these are all the same. Same bad guy. Someone gets beat up bad. Bad guy is hurt but not defeated, to rise again in the next book.

The heroin’s one dimensional, naivety is starting to wear on me.

Cute. Not my normal style, but a nice change of pace. I love sir Kipling!

I don’t want to spoil anything but for heavens sakes Lily is always “getting her heart broken to pieces”.
Two thirds of the way through this book I am getting thoroughly sick of her character (although Sebastian is growing on me). I am getting strong Bella vibes, the author is just trying so hard to make sure we see Lily a certain way and it doesn’t seem to give the character room to breathe and seem real.
But the adventure is entertaining and I want to see it played out so on to the next!
