I liked a some of these stories--5 out of 19, to be exact. But I only kept reading the rest because this was assigned reading, for my YA class. I love sci-fi, but I'm not a huge fan of the short story and I just didn't find these stories that compelling.

A good anthology of Young adult speculative fiction.
There are some new authors for me that I will have to check out.

15 new science fiction stories written for a teen audience. The stories are all worth reading, and my favorites are "Ass-Hat Magic Spider" by Scott Westerfeld, "An Honest Day's Work" by Margo Lanagan, "Infestation," by Garth Nix, "Sundiver Day" by Kathleen Ann Goonan, and "Lost Continent" by Greg Egan.
