A fantasy book for those who love historical fictional but also love magic and divine beings/dark creatures. The relationship between the two main leads is a slow but ultimately very rewarding burn. Spice level is very low, but the chemistry and affection shown between the characters, more than makes up for it. I was left wanting to experience the emense gratitude the characters felt, for the love they shared together, in my own very single life.
