Stęskniłam się za panną Marple, a ta historia była wyjątkowo wciągająca.

This one bored me a bit in the middle. It seems they took a long while to get all the facts straight in order to make the reveal dramatic. While the conclusion was surprising and satisfying, probably my least favourite of Miss Marple’s mysteries so far.

3.5-4 // As always the “Queen of Mystery” never fails to create and engaging and captivating story! This was a very quick read but a potent one at that.

(I will say that there is some very casual racism and also rather poor handling of speech and portrayal regarding neurodivergent individuals which was wrongly deemed acceptable at the time of publication).

2.7- it was definitely not my favourite. I saw the ending coming and it was definitely super interesting, but the whole b plot with Gina and her husband seemed very unnecessary.
