I'm actually surprised that I liked this book. the only thing that I didn't like is that the book is advertised as a book about Greta and her life and fight with climate change, so the book is supposed to be from her point of view, but instead in was from the point of view of her mother, who complained throughout the first half of the book. I would've preferred for Malena to write her own biography and only then to write about all those things.
Also why was Beata's and Svante's names on the cover? There was little to no mention of them.

Such an inspiring family! I really enjoyed getting to know more about Greta Thunberg and her family. The struggle her parents faced trying to support their daughter with being bullied at school, eating disorders and being on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Really appreciated how they changed their lifestyle (no air travel, electric cars, etc) as well as supporting Greta with her school strike for climate change. We need more Gretas in the world (and more people willing to listen and make changes too!)

I love the way this book weaves the climate crisis into a family's day to day life. It makes clear that drastic change is necessary while honestly addressing how difficult it can be to make personal choices. Most of all I appreciate that it doesn't treat climate change as an issue independent of other societal problems.
I found it insightful and inspiring and would recommend it to anyone.

'This is a book about the climate and its supposed to be boring. I don't care. The readers will just have to put up with it.'
It's anything but boring. In fact it goes even deeper than just the environment. A really fascinating and enriching biography, not just of Greta, but her sister and parents too.
