I couldn't put it down! Very entertaining. Great characters. Unique concept. Highly recommended for a quick, lighthearted, YA read. :D

There was a lot to like in this story. The plot is over the top and it feels like there are a lot of dropped threads at the end, but all the main characters are fun and likable. The brother-sister dynamic is endearing, and the growing relationship between Iron Phantom and Abby is charming. The whole nanobot thing is something that would never ever happen. No way everyone would go along with it.

I found this one to be boring. I know it there was some secrets but I for once was able to figure it out and the plot never really did something unexpected. I kept hoping to get invested in it but I couldn’t understand the situations because I didn’t have it in me to care. Some things caught me off guard but for the most part I knew what to expect. I was hoping for a sort of fun, fast paced book but all I got was some romance and a subplot that just got in the way of the world building. For instance, the way the supers are explained isn’t explored, and the characters all seemed to be there just to talk about flirt. I guess I was wishing it would be more open to the world building and the problems with having supers in the books’ society.

This was a fun read. Nothing too intense; an enjoyable way to spend a quarantine day.

This was very fun! I enjoyed it a lot. My only note is that I wanted the ending to be bigger. It was good, and it did fulfill the plot, but I just wanted...more. You know? When there are people with super powers and there's a big villain that's got them all stumped, I want explosions and hostages and sacrifices that may or may not actually happen but we sure think they do. And I want it all compacted in the finale so I don't get a moment to catch my breath, of course, with plenty sprinkled throughout the rest of the book too (as this author did do pretty nicely). But the climax mainly just took place in a single office, and there were three supers there.
But the book as a whole was a nice read. It was a lot of fun cause I'm always partial to the morally grey characters. When you name the whole book after him, you know I'm gonna have to pick it up.

I had high hopes this would be a fun romp, but instead it was a sad womp-womp. Check out my full review over at Forever Young Adult.

Thanks to SwoonReads for the ARC!

I would say this is my favorite book that I have read in 2018 so far. Pretty predictable, but also very cute. If you like super heroes and teen romance, pick this one up.
