Let me say that I truly enjoyed this. My biggest complaint is it was a bit rushed. The flow was slow-paced but it seemed to skip around and turned into a weird fast pace because things were skipped. In a romance, you want the full story. All the ups and downs. This could have easily been expanded into a longer novel and gone from 3.5 stars to 5 stars.

I will read the others, the characters are interesting and the pairing ideas seemed a bit odd other than Posey and Bond (this couple) so I am curious how that will work, also if the honey will work. But more could have been explained about the aliens, their home and so on.

I love, I mean love, that they don't just have humanoid bodies like most aliens. They have to grow their own (very avatar of them) and meld with it to experience our world. That is all we get about that though. There are lots of little things like that I wish had been expanded on. Also, the "problem" in the book seemed so out of nowhere.

Otherwise Posey and Bond are a sweet pair and I hope they live happily ever after in whatever world they end up on.

I enjoyed this lighthearted story. I really identified with the characters and wanted to see them happy. I look forward to book two.

Honestly, this was a super quick read because the book was short. It was also weird.

Bond introduces us to Bond, Magnum, and Rocky. They are aliens, who look like humans, and they are looking for mates. Enter three friends: Posey, Rima, and Georgia. This book is mainly about Posey and Bond becoming intimate/mates but we do get to see everyone getting to know one another as well.

Remember how I said this was weird? Okay, so there's little competition between them and some people in Rima's hometown. They want them to leave like the weirdos they are and never come back. Whereas, Posey and the gang just want to be treated equally. Or ya know.. like they are all humans.

So they are at this festival where they compete in basically everything. The weird thing was the pie eating contest. Now I've never seen one or been in one.. but a hot sauce pie was just super weird. I think it had chicken as well.. but still - weird.

Other than that, the romance was cute and I was kind of expecting more. Maybe that happens in the other books of this series?

This whole plot line is so intriguing. I won't give it away but it goes deeper than the blurb. The women, Posey, Rima, and Georgia, are so normal. Cynical, insecure, faking it till you make it. The guys are so like children, sort of. Learning about earth and humans, yet with heir own problems and objectives. The story sucks you in and takes you for a fun ride you don't want to leave.

So glad I only paid $.99. Granted, I'm sure some people enjoyed the shallow, barely there story leading to the most tame, and short, sex scene I've ever read, but it was definitely not my forte. The joke about how the guys named themselves was kinda funny, but also not at the same time. Everything was just incredibly cheesy, and the childishness of the three girls (I can't bring myself to call them women, they act/think like 15 year olds) drove me up the wall, and kinda made it feel awkward.

Bond (Stargazer Alien Mail Order # 1)
By Tasha Black

While I love the other two series that the author writes this one was just way out there literally and hard to get into at least for me as I just couldn't bond with the three guys (Although I loved the 1980s names the aliens were given) and girls.

The premise of the three college girls going to a town where they meet alien men but the town doesn't want them there was just a bit off. I think I'll just stay with the other two series for now maybe the other books will get better?

This book has absolutely nothing to do with the blurb. At some point I wondered if I was confusing this with another book with the same name. If it wasn't for the names, I would have been convinced I had marked the wrong book as my read. I DNF'D it, because when I came to mark my progress Goodreads insisted I had finished it, and I just didn't want to fight the app or waste any more time with this story. It didn't capture my attention. It's weird, and I can't pinpoint exactly why I didn't like it, but the blurb being about a different plot played a big part. Also, a lot of things are confusing, and their decisions and actions made little sense. The writing style isn't too bad, but It feels kind of immature.
