Man I forget how much I love military sci-fi/horror until I read Joe Ledger.

So it seems Amirah finally realized that her virus in the end wasn't a good thing.

Did I pick this book because it was very short and started with a Z and that made me need it for the ABC challenge? Yes. But also, it was a rollercoaster of a ride into an unreliable narrator. I loved it. definitely worth a read. I bet you can’t guess the big twist ending! 😱

This ride was insane! I need to find out what Joe's up to in The King of Plagues.

Short story tied in nicely with Patient Zero. As always, enjoyed listening to Ray Porter reading Jonathan Maberry's words. This or Paradise?

This should *not* count as a full book, but it is a delightfully dark story and will please fans of Maberry's Ledger series. It fills in a few gaps and gives the reader a good fix of classic Ledger narrative--just enough to hold you over until the next novel. If you've not read the series up to this point, start at the beginning. You'll have much more fun.
