This was such a super sweet and cute novella that I loved so much. Mike and Jane have been friends for years now, they have seen each other date other people and neither one of them know that they both harbor feelings for each other. Then one day it all changes and Mike decides to help Jane finish her resolutions list and this brings the friends even closer as they more time they spend together. Feelings are let know, insecurities rise, and now they must decide if this is it or can they be more. I adored this read and loved them both, also it was super steamy which was awesome.

A cute friends to lovers but there was some weird character building. It's like halfway through the novelette before you find out Mike's a former rock-star and that's how he's buying $1000 ice cream sundaes. Jane's introduced as a philanthropic, champion gift wrapping, kindergarten teacher - but I didn't ever feel those things in her character. She doesn't show a particular love of children, she passes on opportunities to join her grandma at the soup kitchen, and just in general seems to only be defined by Mike. I'm not expecting full novel-length characterization in a novella, but Eden can do it in a short time. Once Mike's history is actually introduced, it's used to give him some really good depth. There's a conversation between him and his mom, who also had some musical success in her youth, about how he knows he's done touring that gave me a lot in a very short time.

OH. She wasn’t kidding when she said steamy, we stan!

So this was obviously a little *too* quick for me, but it’s a good thing I fell in love with Mike just as fast *heart eyes*

Another Mike... Former Rockstar with the ordinary sweet girl oh yeah just my type of treat. Want something light hearted sweet not problematic in anyway , slightly realistic this is for you. Stella and Mike are perfection. The smut was awesome too. I love day dreaming ;-)

Perfect read to kick off a new year and glad this was my first read of 2020!!

Jane and Mike have been best friends for a couple years but she was trying to work up the nerve to tell him she wanted more. She almost did at a New Years party last year but right as she was about to tell him - saw him kissing someone else. She went home and wrote a list of resolutions for the year - she was going to make some changes and move on!

It’s now December and Mike has come across the list and sees there are some items not yet crossed off. He decides he can help her finish up the list in the last couple weeks of the year.

This was the perfect combo of sweet and sexy that I’ve come to expect from Lucy Eden. I highly recommend!!

A quick story of friends to lovers who’s relationship moves at lightening speed once they find out they’ve both always loved each other.

This was a quick little friends to lovers story. There were some parts that felt choppy. The "third act conflict" was irritating, their interactions before it was made clear Mike was single was pretty cringey, and the throwing money around business was confusing until you learn of Mike's background.

Jane & Mike

Cute friends to lovers novella - Mike & Jane met at a concert three years ago & they finally admit their feelings for one another while going on adventures to complete Jane’s list of New Year’s resolutions. The list is complete with them falling in love.
