Ugh this one was so good! I love Carina and I love that we get to see a little bit of the Chicago mob and I love that Jay is in this one and that we see Pete from the Undercurrents series again and I love that sisters is a big theme and just everything! I do hope that in the future we can get some more explanation of Carina's dad's story. No language, no spice.

SO GOOD!!

So I'm a big fan of Traci Hunter Abramson. In this the sixth book in the Saint Squad series the focus is on the newest member to the squad Jay Wellman. While on leave to Miami after a highly publicized SEAL mission Jay meats Corina, a girl trying to get beyond her past. At fourteen she fled with her mom and two sisters to get away from her Chicago Mafia father and his family. After the death of her mother Corina is left to protect her sisters. When a man shows up, claiming to represent her father, telling her she's in danger, everything in her tells not to trust anyone representing her past. Instead Corina finds help in the form of Navy SEAL Jay Wellman and his friends.

As always with Traci Hunter Abramson there is the perfect blend of adventure, romance and relationships. I always look forward to her books and am never disappointed. As always I was absorbed before the end of the first chapter and couldn’t put it down.

Would I read this book again? Oh yeah!

I love the characters in this book. It was a very intriguing story. It was definitely left open for future stores to build on the characters in this book. I'm looking forward to when more books come out in this series!

I just read the first chapter. Chills are officially running down my spine.

I can't wait to see how Traci pulls this off.

Okay I just finished this novel and loved it. I enjoyed how Traci tied up all of her novels in this one. A job well done. Definitely love this author. Incredible writing.

Fans of romantic suspense will eat this up. Definitely recommend this series.

Another great book in the Saint Squad series! I've been enjoying these books and reading through them quickly -- a great combination of action, suspense and romance. Now I have to get my hands on the next one!

The character's background stories are a bit overkill. Jay, for example, is not just a Navy SEAL, but a member of the team that kills bin Laden. And Carina's father is a Chicago mob boss. I suppose this is done to quickly magnify his capabilities and the seriousness of her situation, but it was a bit too extreme for me. There are way too many plot holes with that big of a story. That being said, I really like Jay and Carina. They are likeable characters; and so is EVERY SINGLE ONE of the supporting characters. No, seriously, Abramson rocked the supporting cast.

Sometimes the romance felt like it was just thrown in as an afterthought, but it was still clean and sweet. And Abramson really excels in mystery and suspense. Any mention of faith or scripture was also well written and not preachy. It's a fun, easy read.

BTW, I've only read a couple of the previous books in this series and that was a long, LONG time ago. Abramson ties in A LOT of the characters from the series, but she gives just enough info about each of those characters that you don't feel lost. I think it would have been better reading the other 5 books in order (and more recently), but it still works as a stand-alone.

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but I'm so glad I took a chance on it. It was really good.
It starts out with Corina and her sisters having lost their mother, they now have to hide away from their "family" also know as the "outfit" who has ties to the Mob. The move to Florida to get away from them, and there Corina meets Jay, a Navy Seal from the Saint Squad. Jay and Corina start to date, but things get complicated when Corina's past comes back to haunt her again.

Corina is very gracious, and brave. She gives up on her dreams to take care of her sisters, and to make sure they are protected from the family. She doesn't want to take chances with dating anyone, but her sister helps her to go out with Jay by plotting against Corina. Corina also isn't afraid to take care of her self. She knows how to use a gun and isn't going to back down when in a bad situation.

Jay on the other hand is very kind, and protective. He meets Corina and starts to help her with her problems instantly. But there is a problem Jay has, he isn't Mormon like Corina is. And everyone keeps telling him to read the books, and to ask questions about it. They want him to see if it is for him, and if it can be a part of his life.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I love all of the action, and the plot was super awesome. However the fact that Jay wasn't Mormon, and everyone keep pushing him into really bothered me. I don't mind religion in books, but this just got on my nerves at times. But other than that I loved everything else about this book. It was very well written, and I was constantly wondering what was going to happen next.
