I wanted to know! I rushed through this one trying to get to the end. I worked out part of it but the sociopathy and narcissism drew me in. Daphne and Amber meet at the gym and find an instant connection as they bond over siblings they have lost to cystic fibrosis. Their relationship builds and they become best friends. Daphne and her husband Jackson run a foundation for cystic fibrosis and Amber quickly gets involved helping with that and more in their lives. It gets sadistic from there and these three individuals are intertwined on multiple levels. This was a very fun read and I hope Netflix does it justice. I’d probably recommend print over the audio version, but the audio was fine too. I had a slightly different hope/thought for the ending but I was happy with Liv Constantine’s choices.

This was a dark, intense, slow burn story. The plot is divided into three parts with Amber pov first, then Daphne, then both perspectives. It is fluid with no cliffhangers. I found that the characters lacked dimension, and the story was way too long, and the twist was not a surprise. I haven't read The Wife Between Us yet, but many say it is a lot like it. This is the first book in the series, and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
