Ok so I read the first two books in this series and so far I'm loving them. I do wish the heroine was not fucking 18 (again!!!) and all the dudes well over 100. It's icky and honestly tiresome. The inexperience of the female characters gets so boring to read. If at any point in the next books she get preggers I will come back and adjust this rating. There is no talk of any birth control and she's 18 yr old slave. If pregnancy is used as a plot device I'm gonna be out.

So rant over, this is a great high stakes, plot driven Fae story. I love the character development of the men. The harem is building slowly and organically. The complexity and variety of the villains is well done. Every single one has an agenda and a goal. The MCs are just trying to stay ahead and it just so great to read. I really really really hope the next books stay this good. I took half a star away as I absolutely hate when decades long friendships are easily discarded. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a meaty Fae story.

Cruel is my Court (Wicked Realms book 2) By L.A. McGinnis is a romantic fantasy. I really enjoy reading LA McGinnis’ books. She definitely knows how to write an exciting romantic fantasy novel. You get wrapped up and lost in the world she creates so easily.
I am so glad to dive back into the Wicked Realms with this book. Anaria is still learning everything she needs to know as her men learn their roles. I love how complex the characters emotions, roles and relationships are. You feel you really know them. Of course with any book the threat that is coming grows darker and closer.
I really enjoyed this book and am ready for book3. Great job again on another stellar series!

After reading Savage is My Kingdom, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, and it didn't disapppoint. The series must be read in order, and I recommend giving yourself a weekend of nothing else that needs to be done because you won't be able to put this one down. I didn't just read this one, I devoured it. I stayed up way too late with the excuse of just reading one more page until I reached the end, and now I'm desperate to get my hands on the next one. Ms. McGinnis has sucked me into this complex, magical world and I never want to leave.

Loved every minute of this adventure. The world and the magic is fascinating. The twists and turns kept me on my toes. The characters are fantastically written, all of them perfectly imperfect. Of course, I can't complain about all the steamy bits

Oh my goodness! I absolutely devoured this book, I did not want to put it down! I didn’t realize this was a sequel though, so I’ll need to read the first book now. Then I can reread this one, and that definitely won’t be a problem. This book kept me on my toes, and I kept wanting more. I definitely need to read ALL of the series.

If you love books about fae, wolves, monsters etc, this is the book for you. There’s so much happening, action, romance etc. All your favorite genres put in one book. I can’t wait to reread and get the rest of the series! Definitely recommend reading, and I’ll recommend it to anyone who ask!

What A Wild Ride!

This second installment of this series is an absolute rollercoaster and I loved it!!

This book follows immediately on book 1 and is absolutely jam-packed with everything. This fast-paced read is gripping, you won’t want to put it down.

Cruel is My Court is chock full of discovery, betrayal, tension, emotion and so so much more! It’s a fantasy adventure that’s a little dark and a lot of fun!

Book 3 is definitely highly anticipated!

I'll be honest and say I did not read the 1st book originally. However, after reading the 2nd book in the series, I'm hooked! I loved the world and character building, Anaria, the drama, the action, and of course the men. I truly fell for Tavion even though his character did leave a lot to be desired, but as the book progresses, you see a side to him that makes you soften. Zor, Raz, and Tristian also make this a great RH. Now, with all this said, I have to read book 1!

Interesting story. Needs more editing.

Like the first book in the series, the plot was very interesting but this could have used another round of editing. There was also a cringe-inducing scene involving
Spoilera very squeaky bed within earshot of 4 others
. After that epilogue, though, I'm probably going to read the next book.
