I do not want to leave this family behind, these books have SHREDDED me. Rosemary is the best thing to ever happen and I turned every page hoping she would be mentioned. Another heartbreak, but I would read it again in a heartbeat.

One of the most boring books I have ever read. The action only happens in the like last chapter. The ending was so mind blowing that i still think about this book one year later and it kind of made for the boringness of the rest of the book. For sure difficult to get trough.

4.5⭐️ so so good
I love the fairy tales retelling E. Lockhart writes in between the narration it just adds more entertainment, also it’s like foreshadowing and kinda metaphorical (maybe…?) idk but I adore them

summer vibes 10/10
the ambiance, the plot, the characters and the little twists 10/10
the moment the mystery part hits in 10/10

it’s fine. it’s boring. the writing is so passive. that’s the problem. like exciting things are happening but the mc doesn’t really care so why should i? idk. i just don’t think e lockhart’s writing is for me anymore. it’s kinda like olivia rodrigo’s sour- i’m not a junior in high school anymore so i’m not really the target demographic
