Not what I expected to read. More of another author writing about his conversations with her, but still powerful nonetheless. Jane has been an inspiration since I was a child and continues to be. Her words are moving and thought provoking. We need to do better. We can. We will.

Jane Goodall doesn't shy away from the facts, and she doesn't shy away from reasons to hope, either. I love how she talks about hope as intricately and necessarily tied to action - hope inspires action, and action inspires further hope, even as setbacks occur. I definitely feel inspired to hope and to act after reading this book.
