Needs and her men

Serena Akeroyd how could you leave this book like that? I love how Jessa takes a young man who she knows nothing about and brings him into her small group. Max has no idea how he got so lucky to be accepted anywhere or by anyone at his new high school, instead he finds himself in with Jessa b, Sam and Drew. Had he just been an outsider the whole school would have ignored him, but he also gets to see the bond between them and craves what they have to be part of them. He can see the love they have for each other,as unconventional as it is, but he wants to be part of them.
Sam and Brady have their own bond they hide from the world and absolutely love Jessa for who she is and all her quirks.
It will be interesting to see how Serena plays this out and how they become a unique group of friends, especially how she ended with such a cliffhanger!
Serena Akeroyd you have really done it again amazing me with your writing and the style, bringing a YA novel out that matches anything you write for adults. Bravo!

Loved it.

I wish there had been warning that this was a cliffhanger but the book was so good. Can’t wait to see what happens with Jessa, Sam, Drew, and Max.

Pretty sure my eyes are leaking. I maybe having a major OMG moment! I've never been huge on YA romance, but this is absolutely amazing. I'm getting ready for book 2.

My first thought about jessa was that she’s funny as hell and i quote “God was having an off day when I needed height to be on my side.” GOLD

This book is a little confusing. First off, it’s not a RH book as marketed. It’s not even a ménage, it’s just a plain MF. It also starts like it’s the second book in a series, not the first. Things aren’t explained, they’re assumed. The ménage isn’t even formed, and when the issue is raised, it has the option to develop more, but it returns to MF. There’s also no development of feelings from Max, really from anyone. He shows interest but from what I can see, it isn’t reciprocated.
I also kind of hate these kind of serial style books. I feel not much happens and the pacing is off because they’re meant to be read in a binge, rather than one at a time.
I’m torn if I will continue with this series. I might pick it up once it’s completed, but it’s not a series I am champing at the bit for.
