An interesting look behind the scenes of the Flambards TV series, the actors, the horses, and the strange things that happen when animals, people and a film crew are trying to work together. McKenna also shares anecdotes about the cast (none except "Dick" could actually ride, despite all claiming they could for the auditions) and how she had to learn to ride side-saddle within just a few days.
The second half of the book continues some of McKenna's journey with the woman who taught her to ride, with horses and with the rest of the cast.
