I read Riley Sager's work 'Home Before Dark' and absolutely loved it so I had to pick this up. 'Lock Every Door' wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but it blew my mind nonetheless. I found Jules to be a relatable character and sympathized with her. I do have to say there were a couple of things that happened at the end of the book I didn't really like, and it brought my rating of the book down. That was just my experience and it probably won't matter to most. So please, I encourage you to read it!

Glad I finally read a Riley Sager book, really enjoyed this one even if it was a little silly toward the end.

A classic psychological thriller told from the single point-of-view of Jules Larsen in a now and the format. She lands the job as a a temporary tenant of The Bartholomew, a spooky apartment building where it’s know to not “be kind to gentle souls”. This was my least or second least of the of Riley Sager thrillers I’ve read (tied with House Across the Lake)…it seemed more of a true crime novel than his others, wasn’t as fast-paced and had a far fetched plot line twist that kind of just made me roll my eyes.

Interesting story… I enjoyed the book by this author, even though I did not like the first one I read by him.
