I really love the world Vargas has created with these books, his world and character designs are absolutely superb, with an amazing fusion of cyberpunk and dystopian aesthetics with Peruvian cultural imagery. The artwork is simply fantastic!
Vargas also shines a light on the mistreatment of the native peoples of Peru in this book, and I definitely want to read up more on the Aymara people now.
I’m intrigued to see how Vargas concludes this series.
