A smart little book. Didn't imagine it would be like this but that's what you get when you don't read the synopsis for the book.

This book was surprisingly light-hearted, despite it having the backdrop of the Dresden firebom ing and the many atrocities of the second world war. It made me think, chuckle, like the main character and sympathise or engage with the others. I'm glad I picked this one up!

“Poo-tee-weet.”

I enjoy the storytelling a lot…. the plot too; it’s dark, but weird and humorous at the same time.

A fascinating read. The concept of only death only being at that point in time but still being alive at other times is interesting. Also that everything is going to happen, has happened and will happen because it is destined to. So it goes.
