I love childhood best friends to lovers but this didn’t worked for me from beginning. Rules were dumb and I didn't care about them as couple.

I don't know what to say.... This book is perfect. I love Aspen, I love Bennett, I love their brothers and all the family cameos.

Aspen has so much from her father Theo as she has from her mother Anniston. Her character is a perfect combination of both.

Bennett is Cade 2.0

You can't help falling for both. Their banter, the tention,... everything is perfectly drafted and played out. I had so much fun reading this book, it was right what I needed.

The only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is that the end felt a little rushed to me. That 3 months were skipped. IMO this would have been a possibility to give the characters room to grow and I would have loved to see that.

This story was everything I expected it to be and Kristy Marie delivered a perfect home run!

Oh man where to even to begin with this book other than say this book was absolutely amazing. I think this is going to be my favorite of hers.

This is about 2 bestfriend's Aspen Von Bremen and Bennett Jameson that grew up together from kids to being adults now who share a love that is the forever kind. This story reminds me of the best friend I had when I was growing up we did everything together just not the romantically inclined lol good times.

This book will have you laughing from start to finish and wiping the tears while falling in love with this crazy family if you aren't familiar with the Von Bremen's and the Jameson from her other book's they're so worth it.

I would highly recommend grabbing this up. Enjoy!

Destined to love. . . And cry

I’ve been waiting for this story since IOU. I laughed, I cried, and a yelled at Bennett to just talk to his dad!

I'm going to round up to 4 stars on this one, because the angst and the chemistry between the two protagonists is so. Good. The hero's reason for distance just doesn't hold up for me. It needed to be more epic to create so much pain. But overall I enjoyed the characters and their interactions.

Aspen and Bennett grew up together. They have been friends since they were born and have fought their attraction. They made rules to stay friends and not cross boundaries. Aspen is graduating college and leaving Bennett behind.
Rebellious is told by Aspen and Bennett. Aspen is sassy and argues with Bennett any chance she gets. Bennett is broody and so in love with Aspen. The beginning was completely confusing for me. Not understanding the rules, why they fight their attraction, and why it’s better to not be together. But it doesn’t take long to figure it out and as the story goes on you get more. Their love is so strong, and their rules make sense. You really get to know Aspen and Bennett and your heart gets crushed right along side theirs.
Bring the tissues and get comfy because this is one book you don’t want to miss.

What can I say? This book did truly feel like coming home. I fell in love in a deep way with Theo and Anniston and continuing their journey of their family they’ve created was everything I could have wanted and more.

This story was a beautiful mix of angst, sweetness, heartache, healing, and a healthy dose of sass from our girl Aspen. Bennett was the perfect grumpy yet protective antidote to her spice. What a ride with these two!!! And their chemistry was so hot!!

My heart broke for them and cheered for them. Kristy’s writing is raw, beautiful, fun, intoxicating. I adore the way she writes her complex characters and what comes out of their mouths. The way she can create this fictional family and have it feel so real, like you’re at Sunday dinner with them eating spaghetti and listening to their chaos clothed in love, just really hits the spot.

I just loved this book and getting some glimpses of my man Theo was just perfection. And the fact and he and Anniston were still as in love and all over each other like when they were younger, was so satisfying to read.

This was what friends to lovers is all about. I can’t wait to read about Fenn and Drew next!
