i went into this totally blind and was pleasantly surprised. queer short stories about relationships and identity, many of them with a bit of a weird/spooky (?) twist. thoroughly enjoyed!

This gets three stars for the incredible amount of diversity, specifically in the LGBTQ+ department. However, it lost any chance of being five stars with that obnoxiously long and unsatisfying final story. That being said, most of the stories were good, some were great, and the last one grated on every nerve on my body. This was an interesting, quick, and relatively fun short story collection that folks should pick up as long as they don't mind weird and/or drama-fueled stories.

There was one story (Dead Air) that I will likely remember even though I wished its intention was a little clearer. The rest I really struggled to get through and I found that every time I put it down, I didn’t want to pick it back up. This isn’t to say it’s poorly written or anything like that, I think it was more to do with the content and pacing of the stories; I just found them boring.
