As someone slowly getting more and more comfortable with the sci fi genre, I believe Ender's Game is a classic of the genre for a reason. The author I believe does such a remarkable job of getting you to feel for Ender and everything that he is going through that you can't help but root for him. I don't know if I will follow Ender's story after this, but I am glad I picked up where I did.

I don’t know if it’s because I read this immediately after a tragically boring and bad sci-fi novel, but I was simply blown away.
I don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact that I was spoiled by the movie, which I only saw once when it came out. It doesn’t hold the world’s smallest candle to the masterpiece that is this book. Today a man on the train noticed what I was reading and said solemnly, “that book changed my life, it is my favorite book.” I am unsure if I’d go that far but it’s up there, for sure. He highly recommended the sequel, which I will speedily purchase.

I really loved it. It had many twists and turns. And the end... uhhhh I just can't. I definatly didn't expect something like that. It was awesome!
