Truthfully, it was cute and probably 3 stars, but there were these awesome cheesemaking quotes at the beginning of every chapter... cheese is funny.

Read this several years ago. An interesting story about finding your true self.
**Just reread this and I had forgotten how much Irish swearing was in the book (swearing that is misspelled) and the talk about sex--probably would get a pg-13 rating.**

How many people can come back to life in one book?

I enjoyed the characters and their accents.

All the cows are named Maria, and "The Sound of Music" soundtrack is played at milking time. Smiles.

My 100th audio book in the car!

Listening length 10 hr

HAIKU REVIEW

Cute “cheesy” story.
I didn’t like the font…or
maybe the spacing?

This is the perfect summer read. If a Tom Robbins book and a Maeve Binchy book had a baby book, this would be it.

It was a book that had it's moments, but over all, it wasn't great. I absolutely loved Corrie and Fee, the two cheesemakers, and their housekeeper Avis. I would have loved to learn more about their backstory and their friendship. However, the two main characters of Abbey and Kit felt a little flat and their romance seemed a little forced.

The scene is incredibly charming, but I just did not like the main characters.

I wouldn't say it's the best book in the world, but I did get off at the wrong Metro stop while reading it, which has got to say something for it!
