I expected to like this more but the story played out in a rather predictable way. Not scary in the slightest. My biggest issue by far is that the main character’s name is Lexi but the vague setting makes that name seem so out of place like what year is it??

A cute, quick witchy read. Definitely not Schwabs best work, but an interesting story nonetheless

I loved the Darker Shade series, but so far I haven’t been able to get into anything else Schwann has written. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying. This was her first novel and I did try to keep that in mind but the love story was unnecessarily quick and would have created a better story with a far slower burn.
