I understand what Anne was trying to do with Armand, but he is just not compelling enough for me to justify this whole book. The most interesting parts were the ones about him struggling and existing in the modern day, mostly because we don't really see that kind of problem for Lestat (a rockstar and posting legend), but otherwise it was a bit dull.
