The Long-Awaited Christmas Wish is the fourth book in the Dawson Family Ranch but was great reading as a stand-alone. It was a short book but still was a sweet Christmas romance between a single mom and a U.S. Marshall. Maisey Clark was orphaned at a young age and one year for Christmas she and her foster sister each made a wish and put them inside a bottle and then threw them in a lake. Her childhood Christmas wish to be adopted and have a family again but her wish never came true. Now a single mother she is working with the children that visit the Dawson Family Ranch. Rex Dawson was a U.S. Marshall who was constantly on the move. Finding a bottle with a child’s Christmas wish in it intrigued him. For some reason, he wanted to find the girl who wrote the wish and see if it came true. After hunting for her for months, he was amazed to find Maisey working on his family’s ranch. He never thought he was the family type but maybe Santa has plans for him?
