Super cute! I loved the multiple voices and the diary format. I haven't even seen the film but I will now.

The review I gave a friend, verbatim:
"It was stupid and cute and funny and just enough informational and you could definitely tell it was written by a brown person.
Love love LOVED IT."

This was so fun! The illustrations are very cute and funny, and the camaraderie between Peter, Ned, and MJ is perfect. I appreciated MJ’s educational sections!
There are no major spoilers for the movie; one minor plot point involving Nick Fury is touched on.

Writing - very good
Art - Not good. Neither Ned nor MJ looked like themselves.

Chhibber did an amazing job capturing the tone and witty banter between characters. It was quite easy to "see" what they were discussing and I laughed IRL a few times. Great for fans of Spider-Man, can be read as a companion or standalone to the movie Spider-Man Far From Home. Read alike for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid, James Patterson's Middle school is the worst, or Drama. Excellent choice for reluctant readers to enjoy!

This was genuinely funny, heart-warming and delightful. Peter likes MJ so much my heart is SO FULL.

Really fun, but sometimes the teen-speak was a bit much (I do not believe Peter Parker would say "bae"). Otherwise its a fun companion to the movie.
