Really enjoyed all of the descriptive language and the imagery from this book. This feels like a book to read again for sure.

i LOVE books like this. i adore crazy psychotic female characters. i found the setting really interesting and origional, i was born after 9/11 and have never thought about pre 9/11 nyc. i found the main characters quest super interesting and i found the friendship with riva really interesting too. i love toxic female friendships.

I don’t think you understand this book so much as experience. Tragedy and farce, hurtling toward an inevitable conclusion that still feels like a gut punch. It made me deeply uncomfortable and it felt true.
