I'm could describe Blood Feud the same way I described Hearts at Stake... A great book for vampire fans looking for a fun, fast and entertaining read. I'd even recommend this for non vampire fans. This was just a feel good, make you laugh, can't stop turning the pages.... awesome book.

I would have to describe these novels as my "guilty pleasure" vampire novels. (I have a werewolf guilty pleasure too: The Dark Guardian novels.) And I call them guilty pleasures because they aren't exceptionally written, and that's not to say Harvey isn't a great writer because she is, and the plot is a little bit predictable... I mean we know these two people are going to get together. Yet, at the same time, these books are incredibly addicting and surprising!

Blood Feud is told in alternating perspectives, much like the first novel, but this time the perspectives are that of Logan and Isabeau. Also something a little different, is the glimpses into Isabeau's life before she is turned. She lived in France durning the times of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI. That was a very interesting aspect of the novel that I was not expecting.

I liked getting to see more of the different tribes of vampires. Isabeau is a Hound vampire and loved getting to experience that.

I do have to admit besides the predictable plot line between Logan and Isabeau, I was very shocked at the ending of a particular plot line within the book..... I was thinking that it would be carrying us through the entire series, but I guess that's not the case at all.

Loved the characters of Logan and Isabeau, but I missed Lucy. She's my comic relief and I missed her witty remarks and hilarious disregard for authority!

This is a fun series with great characters and engaging plot. I just can't get enough! Eagerly awaiting more!

Always a pleasure to follow the adventures of the Drake family =)
Maybe I like a little less Logan (even if he made me laugh many times ) but I love his relationship with Isabeau (it must be the "French touch" =))
It's always weird to see French revolution from a non-french point of view but I really enjoyed it =)

I love Isabeau. She is so fierce and incredible. Logan is such sweetheart and he is so good with Isabeau who has some serious issues with ptsd. I really enjoyed the magical elements in this book, it was nice to see some folklore popping up now and again. Also this book is full of dogs so that gives it bonus points. I am enjoying this series and plan to finish it soon.

This is the second book in the Drake Chronicles, I love the first book and I love this one just as much. You can also read this book completely fine without having read the first and there was not a lot of recapping either. The main characters were a bit older than the main characters in the last book and the writing style and characters mental views truly reflected that fact. I also love the authors unique mix of vamp legend and Celtic faerie/woade legend in the making of "The Hounds". There is also plenty of the Drake family and their sarcasm. The beginning is packed with action and so is the end. Adults and teens alike will enjoy this book.

I didn't like this as much as the first, mostly because I didn't connect with Logan or Isabeau as much as I did with Lucy and Solange, but it was still a fun read. Logan is such a nerd for the 1800's, it's hilarious. Can't wait to see which Drake sibling is up next.

Blood Feud is the second book in the Drake Chronicles series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. I just loved getting to check back in with these amazing characters. I like how the author has different characters point of view in each of her story. It just lets you get a deeper look at some of the main characters whether they are new characters or previous characters. It just lets you fall deeper in love with them and you get to catch up with some of the previous one’s that you like to see again. I just loved getting to learn more about Logan Drake and Isabeau St. Croix and getting to see their journey and struggles. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The second book of the Drake chronicles follows Logan Drake and Isabeau St. Croix, and even though it was still good, I found myself not liking it quite as much as the first one. To me, it seemed like their relationship formed way too fast, they barely knew each other.
