This is the first one where I'm a little less than impressed (though it's still fun to read)! I loved Molly's adventure when she tried to slow down time so she could spend more time with her friends, but the following story after that occurred felt a little forced. I liked Emmy and her monster brood well enough, but the story as a whole felt sort of superfluous. The last story with the Zodiac cabin making a newsletter was a good way to end it though. Also, give me Marigold the cat in a reporter's outfit forever and ever, thanks.

I'm so sad to say I think this may be my last adventure with the Lumberjanes. There's a noticeable difference in the story and characters with the departure of Noelle Stevenson, and I haven't been vibing with the new art style for a couple volumes. It's a major bummer, but I'm happy to say the first few volumes will easily remain among my favorite graphic novels of all time.

Man, while this is still entertaining, I wish the series would begin addressing the overarching mystery of the woods that keeps being hinted at every so often. The hints are VERY few and very far between, and without something to unify all of these supernatural occurrences, it makes you wonder if the series is truly building up to something greater, or not at all.

Also the art is fine; I just prefer the original one with the beady eyes.
