Nothing entirely new but it definitely was nicely written and included lovely characters.

I was quite fond of the fact that there isn't much drama in this one. By drama I mean issues between the MCs and by issues I mean conflict (both external and internal). Liked that their issues were solved pretty quickly, liked the plot behind the story, would have loved to hear more about the side characters crucial to the plot, though (like the hero's bf who died or the heroine's grams)

Especially loved that the heroine wasn't a pushover, she gave into her feelings quickly yes but when he couldn't yet admit His feelings she was quite stubborn and he had to explain himself first before anything else happened. You go girl!

Anyways, found the characters likeable. Sweet read, not entirely clean, quite lovely

I would like to thank the author for providing a free copy of the book in return for an honest review.

Once Upon a Duke's Dream is the third book in the Happily Ever After series, it can be read as part of the series or as a standalone.

Bradley is a spy for the British government trying to route out French spies. Isabella has returned from France after her fathers death, to run her home. Unfortunately her step brother has followed her and seems intent on taking everything from her.

This is not a clean regency romance.
