Is it just me, or does this boy look like a young Gru from Despicable Me? No? Ok.

Anyway...[b:Sweep|41458425|Sweep|Louise Greig|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1535227057l/41458425._SX50_.jpg|64723371] is about said boy's big, bad feelings sweeping away everyone and everything around him. It quickly gets out of control, but the boy can't stop it. Eventually he learns that the same wind that picked up his bad mood can just as easily change directions.

I love a good social-emotional story. This was decent. I think older elementary students would get the metaphors and symbolism better than the primary set. One thing that disappointed me was that the boy didn't have to take responsibility or make amends for the chaos his bad mood caused.

This children's book was beautifully designed and had quite an empowering message about not letting your bad moods affect you or others which is something I need to learn more about

A great story, particularly for children who struggle with “bad moods” like Ed. Beautiful illustrations too.

Joshua (6 years): It helped me calm down.
Daniel (8 years): I really liked the book.
