“I would like, to begin with, to say that although parents, husbands, children, lovers, and friends are all very well, they are not dogs."

Now how can you not read a book contain this sentence?
I don't know as I certainly did and had such a romp with Elizabeth through, well, all the dogs of her life!

It was so fun to hear of her different dogs, their personalities and life style!
Mind you have tissues ready as each dogs life story invariably ends with their death and your heart strings are going to be repeatedly tugged, like it or not.

What would this world be like without our little four legged companions?

Recommended for animal lovers, dog lovers, and strong hardy souls needing a break from all the frantic reads out there.
