Another solid entry in the series. At this point it's clear what to expect from these books and this follows the same formula as the previous books. George and Frances continue to be an enjoyable couple to read about. There was nothing particularly new or exciting in this book but it was a comfy cozy read and the familiarity didn't bother me.

Voi voi, kyllä pääparia nyt koetellaan. Hauskaa, että kirjailija malttaa pidätellä ajankulun kanssa. Hahmot jälleen symppiksiä.
Jonain päivänä nämä varmaan pääsevät vielä häämatkallekin.

After reading just one to many horror books I like to dip into a cozy mystery to pick me back up. Dianne Freeman's Countess Harleigh series is a wonder way to do it. Her characters are well written and enjoyable. I'm sorry to see that there is only one more book in the series.

I received an ARC of this title from the author, as part of the prize bundle offered by the author in a silent auction held by her publisher, Kensington Publishing, to raise funds to donate to support Ukraine.

This was another phenomenal mystery in the Countess of Harleigh mystery series, and it was such a joy to finally see Frances and George tie the knot after watching their relationship blossom--both personally and as a team of sleuths. And this mystery hits rather close to home when a murder takes place right next door to their wedding reception--and Frances' brother is the main suspect! There were quite a number of plot twists to keep things lively and the reader guessing as to who-done-it (and whether or not Frances and George will finally get to go on their honeymoon...)
