This was such a good book! First off, lovely prose. From the first page, I was instantly captivated by the prose and setting. The hotel is such a fascinating place, and I enjoyed following the different characters who were staff and who were guests through the hotel. The world building was fascinating. There was plenty of intrigue, both about the characters and the setting. There are many POVs in this book, but each one was fascinating. Each switch left me grasping for the prior POV, as each chapter end felt like there were so many secrets eluding my grasp like soap bubbles. But each chapter was quick to grab my attention and provide more intrigue. I loved all the characters, from Carl to Rogan to Professor Azad to Uwade and Kipple and Omar. This was such a good book, and one I would definitely want to reread.

From the first few chapters I found myself in love with the characters. Each chapter focuses on a different character, and there is so much emotion that is given to each character in so few pages. It is an incredible job to give so many characters such live while unraveling several complex mysteries. I truly enjoyed this book.
