pretty nice actually
I expected this book to be bad because I didn't like the writer's poetry so I was being unfair but I actually do like this book.
however I'm still not compelled to give this a 4 star because I feel like it wasn't there yet but I feel like Brown is doing pretty great already as a writer
it was nice reading this book because the teenagers are relatable to an extent or at least Sydney's emotions are. admittedly, don't really love the characters so Leo is probably the best one
but yea pretty nice

Amazing book, the writing is excellent, great tension building. I had to hold myself back not to finish it immediately. The characters are relatable, I really like how realistic they feel. The topic is a bit dark but handled in an excellent way. I really liked going through the process of grieving with Sydney in the book
and I love the way her relationship with June evolved
, truly excellent book, loved it and will definitely read it again!
