I honestly didn't even know this thing was coming out! That's one of the things with Indie books. Sometimes, we get a big, long, drawn-out announcement of what's coming; other times, they appear. I love Sarah Blue, and although I can't wait to read the next book in her hockey omegaverse series, this one was so good! One of my favorite things in MC books is when we spend a lot of time with the club and the clubhouse, and we did that in this book. They had a whole compound, not just the clubhouse, and it was so good! It is the first book in a new series, so it's just starting to learn about this world, and the club has a huge cast to get to know. This thing had a lot going on, and on the one hand, I loved it because it was hard to put it down, but then, on the other hand, it might've bit off a little bit too much. For example, the FMC has an only fans account where she is making a good amount of money, and the goal was to have a nest egg and keep it completely secret. But it's forgotten about by the end of the book, and one of the members of her pack that she formed doesn't even learn about it. I wish it was a little bit bigger because I loved seeing the other two guys either learning about it or learning about parts of it. Anyway, I loved how she created her pack within the clubhouse, but this thing had a lot going on, and it took a lot of time to get to that point. It had a really good ending. I wish the ending jumped slightly in time with each POV instead of it all being centered on their trip together.

Sarah has a way of writing that is genuinely my favorite. It’s sarcastic, irreverent, and completely relatable, which is exactly what I want to read in an unhinged MC omegaverse (or actually any of her books, omegaverse, PNR, whatever). The way she absolutely roasts some side characters (well deserved) in the FMC’s inner monologue literally had me in stitches.

“And I’m not above k*lling someone to keep her. All I want is for her to be mine, to make her feel good, to give her the world.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, MC romances that are omegaverse are some of my favorite books of all times. What’s better than big scary, morally grey alphas and unhinged betas taking care of sweet omegas? Nothing, that’s what. The Sweetverse walked so that Nobody’s Darlin’ could run!

“I shouldn’t crave it, it shouldn’t be him who brings me comfort. How can it feel so right and so wrong at the same time?”

In the pack from Nobody’s Darlin’, our omega FMC is a cam girl who is saving her money so that she will never feel trapped like her mom was. There’s an utterly obsessed, unhinged beta (my fave) who she’s been crushing on for years and reciprocates those feelings. He would (and does) take down anyone regardless of designation if they even look in her direction wrong. There’s a large, older alpha with a dark past who is not only intelligent but he’s also only sweet for his girl. Finally, there’s the estranged, alpha stepbrother who completes the pack. I could not pick a favorite if I wanted to. They are all perfect.

“It’s addictive the way he makes me feel; safe, cherished, and protected.”

In the absolute best way possible, you will have emotional whiplash while reading Nobody’s Darlin’. Your heart will break and then you’ll swoon and be fanning yourself. It’s emotionally charged, tender, and violent at the same time— somehow it works. The romance is forbidden, taboo, and yet sweet af.

This book is an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, I raged, I was devastated, I screamed, and I nearly threw my kindle across the room. There was the perfect mix of plot, angst, club drama, swoony moments, humor, and emotionally charged moments. Good soup, I say!! This might be my new favorite Sarah Blue book. I’m obsessed.

Spice Rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

The first half was very slow, but needed story and character development. Once I got to half way, it took off like a bullet. So much action, new characters, betrayal, and a cute HEA, if cute is even a word you can use around these hulking, intimidating motorcycle gang members. It took my emotions on a roller coaster, and I honestly could never tell what was going to happen next. It’s a tragic and beautiful found family story. I know there’s more that will come out of this Omegaverse, and I’m excited to read it all!

I think this is now my fave from Sarah Blue. I love the “sweet” omegaverse with a touch of darker MC club themes. These men are truly “only sweet to her” types, and there’s no shortage of illegal and morally-gray happenings. But that’s what makes it that much better. And the moments we get with her men are just… ugh, the sweetest, I love them all.

This is probably Sarah’s most well written plot to date.  It kept me on edge the entire time not knowing where the story would take me.  All of the MMCs were extra yummy and I loved the dynamic with the guys and Lily.  I’m such a ho for a stepbrother romance and make it an MC and I’m a GONER! Great read!
