This was absolutely amazing and I read it in one sitting! I’m a sucker for music/dance themed books and this did not let me down. I loved both Gina and Stone as individual characters and as a couple. I truly appreciated how emotional Stone and Gina’s connection was and how much Alexis Daria was tugging at my heart strings in the last quarter of the book. I truly felt how deep their relationship had gotten and how hard it was for them to go through the ups and downs the show put them through. The intimacy outside the bedroom was really well written! You could tell these two had more than just lust because they shared so many small moments of holding hands, little touches, leaning on each other for support, etc. Really beautiful and well done. That being said, holy cow, these two were on fire in the bedroom!

Stone was probably my favorite thing about this book; he was such a perfect hero! He might be big and muscular, but he’s also a bit of a beta hero. I love this because I’m all for betas but it was also fun to watch as he grew confident in his dancing and really embraced taking the lead when needed. He was a perfect blend of sweet and strong while also being completely drool worthy. I adored his more romantic side that really came out as he got comfortable with dancing and with Gina.

I love a strong and dedicated heroine so Gina was a joy to read. I loved her passion for dancing, her fire to succeed, and her determination to be the best version of herself without compromising on her self respect. This does lead her to hold onto her pride and fear a little too tightly, but it also makes her a heroine I can really respect.

Only a small thing: several months go by in the book, but I barely noticed the passage of time. We know each of the show’s episodes has a week of rehearsal, so the amount of time passing is there, it just felt very subtle because there were no external clues that usually get thrown in to show time. This might have more to do with me reading it all at once than anything the author did or didn’t do.

You know what, I didn't expect to enjoy this one, but I really did. Some lovely characters with a reality TV slant.

This is a nice, warm, generic romance. The plot was predictable, but fun. I didn’t connect with either MC so I didn’t think there was an emotional depth to their romance. It wasn’t bad, just kinda bland. Had I read this book 3-4 years ago I probably would’ve enjoyed it more. But the lack of emotional connection between characters left me wanting more.
I usually like celeb romances but this book was more tell and not show.
I get annoyed when characters make obvious stupid mistakes and then are surprised when something doesn’t go there way. This book had a couple of those instances and for that reason I’m giving it 3 stars

I read this book in 24 hours.  It was the kind of book that had me staying up way past bedtime because I was just so invested in Stone and Gina, their romance, and also their progress in the Dance Off competition.  As a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing, many aspects of the dancing competition were so familiar to me.

I loved how the author blended the right amount of competition detail with scenes of them outside of the reality show.  Their budding romance, hidden from the cameras and the public, was sweet and burning in equal measure as well.  I’ve always been a sucker for the big guy paired with the petite female.  I know it’s not very feminist of me (hey shoot me) but I love the protective big dude, taking care of the delicate female.

Stone was a big outdoor mountain man type guy but he was also very sensitive, sweet and caring and had some great dance moves.  Gina was a great advocate for the sensual and fiery Latina, yet the author instilled some integrity and values, refusing to make her the stereotypical ‘red-blooded’ Latina and she valued her family and self-esteem over being forced into a role just for the TV cameras.

This sounded interesting, fun with diverse characters thrown into a reality TV show. There were cute and sweet moments I enjoyed but overall it just didn't work for me. That said, I am looking forward to reading the next book.

A special thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
