Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey remains one of my favorite books, and my second favorite Austen novel (closely following Persuasion). It is quippier and more humorous than some of her later works, and I found myself laughing throughout the story. The romance is sweet and realistic.

I highly recommend this often-forgotten Austen classic!
