Good book, not my favorite of the series but I did enjoy the alternating perspectives of two of the Hawthorne brothers. The setting was also interesting but I had difficulty getting myself to pick this up.

Loved loved loved this next book in the saga! Hit the same perfect notes of tense, but not scary mysterious, but not haunting and suspenseful, but not cliche as it’s predecessors. Especially enjoyed digging deeper into the brothers and their separate paths. I can not wait for the next chapter the ending set up for!!!
