This is a sneaky little unassuming book that is both a fast and a slow read, because the number of words are few, but what they mean made me want to slow down, to reflect, to take them in.

this was super brief but had some solid lines in it. ended up listening to the audiobook twice in a row—once at the speed i usually listen to audiobooks at, and a second time immediately afterwards at a slower speed to further absorb the words.

If I could rate this book more than 5 stars, I would. Such an uplifting letter to everyone who has dreams.

Jason Reynolds is an overall incredible human. He has a flawless voice for narration and knows how to write the most beautifully inspiring words. I'm glad I took the time to listen to these poems about hopes & dreams.
